Timer Did Not Alert? Notification Troubleshooting

Check permissions, battery policy, focus modes, and sound settings in a decisive order.

First confirm that the app created a pending system reminder. Then check notification permission, sound, Do Not Disturb, and battery background limits. On iOS inspect Focus and Scheduled Summary; on Android 13+ allow notifications and check vendor background controls; on HarmonyOS allow notification and reminder permissions. Test with a reminder two minutes ahead while locked.

  3. Check battery saving, background activity, scheduled summaries, and vendor autostart policy.

Start inside the app with its pending-reminder list, then move outward to permissions, system policy, and sound. An empty pending list points to creation or sync; an existing reminder that never appears usually points to operating-system policy.
